At Drs. Otto & Weaver, Inc. we welcome patients of all ages.  Our dental practice was established in 1959 by Dr. Birgit Otto’s parents and continues to serve the greater Vancouver area.  Our practice has provided dental care to 4 generations of families.  Our commitment is to provide quality patient-centred care, with an emphasis on prevention and education.

       Dr. Birgit Otto and Dr. Jake Weaver received their Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Alberta, the longest established dental school in Western Canada.  Dr. Otto and Dr. Weaver both have over 30 years of experience in the dental field.  They are committed to continuous learning.  Throughout their careers, they have been members of numerous dental study clubs, furthering their skills in periodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry.  Presently, Dr. Otto and Dr. Weaver are members of the Western Restorative Study Club and

Dr. Weaver is also a member and part time mentor of a Dr. Tucker Cast Gold Study Club.

     In their personal lives, Dr. Otto and Dr. Weaver are married with three adult children.  They enjoy hiking and cross country skiing.  They also enjoy volunteering.  Dr. Otto is a Level 2 Track and Field Official, a Level 2 Cross Country Ski Official and a cross country ski coach.  She has been the President of the NorWesters Track and Field Club since 2009.  Dr. Weaver is passionate about coaching Cross Country Skiing.  He is the Head Coach of the Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club and coaches the Race Team.
